What’s Your Address?

Good Monday Morning!

A few days ago I received a “special offer” from a local restaurant. At least I think it’s local. Nowhere written on this slick, beautifully designed trifold brochure had they included their location! Clearly they had put much thought and effort into it but they’d missed a critical piece of information.

Got me thinking.  As this week begins, I want to be purposeful as I cross paths with others, be they strangers, coworkers, family, or friends. With each encounter, I want to ask God how I can be sensitive to the needs of those around me. What do they need to hear from me most?

Unlike that restaurant, I do want to remember the obvious today. That whatever is happening around me, I can never go wrong offering a warm smile and a kind, gracious word of encouragement.

A man has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word! (Proverbs 15:23)

I’ve always said that God knows my address. How thankful I am for that. And I’ve said that He is our Divine Networker! I’m so thankful that He connected us, Gumball Girl, so many, many years ago now! You remain a blessing in my life!
